Swedish Midsummer festivities belong to some of the holidays around the world that should be considered cultural heritage of international interest. There’s no stopping the wonders of Sweden in summertime and what better way to portray this today, Midsummer’s Eve, with the splendid Swedish outfit Air France. Blending pop music as made famous by Sincerely Yours with balearica floating on fluffy clouds of dreams, the band comes across as the type of band that proves why Sweden is such a tremendous country when it comes to innovative, alternative pop-hinting music.

The experience of the music is that of soaring high above the clouds but with the comfort of being assured that the band would never let you down as the ride goes on. The No Way Down EP moves me in a way that only Swedish bands can move me - it’s just what we Swedes do best, I’m not being nationalistic.

It’s all like a dream, isn’t it? No. Better.

Buy No Way Down!

Look out for the exotic intro to No Excuses! I can’t believe they didn’t utilize that more in the song!
