I wanted to take some time to tell you about my friend Vincent’s band The Queue. No, it has nothing to do with the professional literature publishing service and yes, it may have something to do with the Oasis song Part Of The Queue. I figured, since Vincent and his bandmates are great fans of Oasis. But he wishes to state that there’s always a queue to the band.

Anyway there’s a whole lot of Oasis echoing in the band’s sound while still maintaining a solid Swedish indie rock profile throughout. There’s also a few Beatles points to be thrown in, especially with the lyrical reference to “Lucy in the sky”. But there’s always the charming own personality which only a band that has just started out can have, and The Queue sport this with flair. I really think you should check them out. I’ts indie poprock at its purest and most indie.

So to celebrate that it was Sweden’s National Day yesterday, here’s two of the finest Swedish mp3s you can get right now!
