I don’t know if we’re onto something exciting here. But apparently a new group consisting of Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Charles Hayward (This Heat, Camberwell Now), Pat Thomas and John Coxon (Spring Heel Jack, Spiritualized) will be supporting the awesome band Gang Gang Dance at their gig tonight (June 1) at Dingwalls in London. If this new group will cease to exist after this one gig or continue on, as the word “new” suggests, is unknown. The name of the group is also to be announced. So everything’s wrapped up in mystery right now. Just wanted to be on top of things for once and also have a sufficient reason to share Hot Chip’s much worthy remix of Gang Gang Dance’s arguably best track: House Jam.
