For the third time I am letting three sources randomly choose three tracks for me to review and rate. The mystery of randomization gets thicker…

IDC - Bolshy Beats
I remember when this came out last year. It was featured on IDC’s debut album which I never got around to check out. If I was to judge only by Bolshy Beats it would be a headache-inducing ride. Nah, I don’t think I will like it much. In the nu rave wave there are a lot of crazy ideas on how you can make rave. And that is of course awesome and the whole point of nu rave. But it also calls for a number of tracks being mediocre in their insanity. Like this one.

Jens Lekman - I’m Leaving You Because I Don’t Love You <— <3
Ahahaha. Hehehe. ;) Do I need say more than that Night Falls Over Kortedala is one of my favourite albums of 2007 and of ALL TIME? This isn’t even one of the best tracks on the album and it still deserves a 9! The album and Jens Lekman is insanely good.

Rooftop Vigilantes - Zach Want Glove <— via
This is a pretty unknown band which has been featured on the renowned blog Have You Heard. The Kansas band has a rough indie pop rock sound and they recorded an exclusive live session for Have You Heard. This is one track from the sessions and it’s a short, one and a half minute long, rock blast that is as refreshing as it sounds old skool indie hardcore. One for the noise and lo-fi enthusiasts and a striking introduction to the interesting band Rooftop Vigilantes.
