I just wanted to get a last few words on the whole fake Justice track circus.
I will not apologize to anyone who is as fanatical and naive as to carelessly throw him/herself over from Hypem after reading Michael Jackson - Thriller (Justice Remix) and then get downright angry or depressed when finding out it wasn’t real. I don’t have to apologize to people who so severely lack self-distance and a perspective of what’s important in life. Anything else is not mentally healthy, I haven’t hurt anyone for real.
For those of (<— corrected, gah!) you claiming that this gag wasn’t funny, I stand corrected. It’s THE COMMENTS AND RESPONSES that this absolutely spontaneous and silly gag evoked that are at times VERY FUNNY. It brings out the best of some, the worst of others. I like to be the one to stir up things a little, I have the guts to do so in many situations IRL or online. Judging by the response this fake tagging spawned, a little stirring in the blogosphere pot was in its place.
It seems Justice still haven’t lost their iconic status. Justice is a really good French band, not really GODS, despite what I may claim sometimes. It seems people are overreacting and need to chill down. Those who are afraid Hypem is/will be overflowing with fake tracks show signs of paranoia. Anthony of Hypem has expressed Hypem’s discontent with such content and how they activelly work to make Hypem a user-friendly place on the web. I think Mr. Bob Marley said something wise one time: Simmer down, simmer down.
Nonetheless I sort of regret tagging the mp3 incorrectly on purpose. I proved my point last time around with the fake Coldplay remix last year and there was really no need to prove it again. It was a little unnecessary buzz over a real small thing. In the end, this fake track has only confirmed that the same thesis on the impact of the name Justice still is active and vital and it can also be seen as a last and heartfelt goodbye to the mad world of fake tracks and fake Justice tracks in particular.
So yea. I wasn’t completely serious with the one-fake-Justice-track-a-year thing. Are you kidding me? It would get too much for me and many tense blogreaders, even if I am/have been/would be the only one who is bold or foolish enough to post fake tracks. No more silly detours from authentic blogging! No more fake tracks! Enough is enough. The public has spoken and of course I comply - I’m not completely phuqqed up if that’s what you’ve been thinking
This is the end of uncertainty and mislead hype and the beginning of an age where the blogosphere is walking hand in hand with Hypem in the wonderful land of Authenticia.
FAKE JUSTICE TRACKS R.I.P.

No one was hurt, but The Lemur Blog sure does have a lot more visitors: http://www.sitemeter.com/?a=stats&s=sm5thelemurblog&r=35
Exploitation of the system for your benefit does not count as stirring the pot in my immature and irrelevant opinion.
The Lemur says
Seems rather pointless to shout in the dark, don’t you think? What’s the point of stirring the pot if no one’s getting stirred?
You’re lost in your own cynism. I didn’t do this to gain more visitors to the blog, I wanted more visitors to see the ten artists I listed. There’s a difference. I blog in favour of artists and for people to discover new awesome music. The fact that you pay more attention to this fake track than the 99.9 % authentic tracks that are awesome on this blog points toward your blindness caused by your cynism. But hey, prove me wrong, prove me wrong.
Why shouldn’t I care for more visitors? I care strongly for additional visitors who find their way onto this blog and like the 99.9% authentic material that I post. So what if they missed out on a fake track? There’s hundreds of other authentic ones for them to find here! So of course I should work towards creating a popular blog where people can find music to make their lives richer. But I would never do this type of thing for the sole purpose of attracting more visitors. That was not the intention and presumed outcome I had in mind when I tagged the fake track.

worst blog ever and I didnt come to get that track.
Bored. Drop it. Move on.
hilarious. people that gullible deserve to be duped. and lemur is right, the comments it generated are worth the price of entry alone lol.
Perhaps you had the intention of promoting those artists but it was an illegitimate means of doing so. People were deceived, and perhaps my e-peen is the only one hurt, perhaps I am absorbed in cynicism. However, every other blog has 100% authentic tracks. My stance is this: the system was abused for your direct benefit. Not alright, weather or not you realized it would happen. If some artists benefited, then three cheers for you.
You’re a toolbag. Very disappointing - you’ve disrespected your blog, your readers and the artists by being a little fucking baby. Great blogs and great tracks become famous for their quality. Not a hoax.
I hope the lemur eats a dick tonight. And you too.
If you’re claiming responsibility for creating any of the well-circulated fake Justice remixes, fuck you. That was a cruel joke, you self-serving ass.
