Dan Lissvik a.k.a D. Lissvik, one half of Studio for those who didn’t know, released a solo album last year, for those who didn’t know. It was called 7 Trx + Intermission and was full of exotic atmospheres, minimal disco grooves and hypnotizing instrumental strumming and pummelling on all sorts of instruments. Get it!
Below you can find the following:
- a video of the fifth track from the album, conveniently all the tracks were named like Track 1, Track 2 etc. Lissvik’s friend Mattias Norström dances a bit like a cobra for the camera, hits some drums, wearing sunglasses, set in a dark room with mindfucking strobelights and mystique colouring. You know, just the usual you do every day.
- the track from the video
- Lissvik’s disco-y remix of Fever Ray’s When I Grow Up
- a new track called Practice! It appeared on the Swedish blog Mind On The Run a few days ago and apparently it was recorded a bit like a practice track before he went to work with the album.
Enjoy!
