Coralcola’s debut EP is finally here. The touch is personal and indie, much thanks to the fact that he has made 100 hand-numbered tapes by himself that will be available for purchase on the 21st this month. I’m not sure how you’re going to get hold of one, but the surest place to find one would be one of his gigs in Massachusetts, a list of them can be found below.
But you if you’re not anywhere close Massachusetts, you can always download the EP for free through his myspace. And there’s darn good reasons for it. Dreamglitchers of the world: UNITE! Coralcola shall lead us. There may not be a song as epic and amazing as his Heath Ledger, but the five tracks make up one of the best EPs so far this year. Ouch and It’s Always Sunny In Boston contains the deepest and at the same time soaring alternative dance experience you can find right now. The over 10 minute long Sleep Is For Dreamers offers ambient extended drones of spiritual rest and Stag Highway displays a minimal Aphex Twin-y rhythm pattern to accompany the beauty of Coralcola’s astounding aural depth.
